AhnGuk Pharmaceuticals Achieves Industry-First Integrated Certification for International Standards Compliance and Anti-Corruption Management
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daehyun] Anguk Pharm has become the first company in the domestic pharmaceutical and bio industry to obtain integrated certification related to compliance and anti-corruption management.
On the 18th, Anguk Pharm announced that it had acquired integrated certification for the Compliance Management System International Standard (ISO 37301) and the Anti-Corruption Management System International Standard (ISO 37001) from the Korea Compliance Institute (KCI) on the 16th of last month.
The Compliance Management System is an international standard related to compliance management established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in April last year. It is a management system that stipulates requirements and provides guidelines for establishing, developing, implementing, evaluating, maintaining, and improving an effective compliance management system within an organization. Anguk Pharm is the first in the domestic pharmaceutical industry to obtain such integrated certification.

An Anguk Pharm official stated, "Since receiving the first certification for the Anti-Corruption Management System International Standard in November 2018, we have received final conformity judgments in follow-up audits for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020," adding, "We will continue to make our best efforts to establish the anti-corruption management system as a corporate culture by conducting anti-corruption and related compliance education, as well as selecting and awarding outstanding departments every month."
