Air Force One Retires After 11.9 Years and 1,622,222 km of Flight... New Model Introduced

The Blue House announced on the 15th that the new Air Force One will serve as the exclusive aircraft of the Republic of Korea for the next five years, carrying out major missions such as presidential overseas visits.
The new Air Force One is a Boeing 747-8i model, with increased range and cruising speed compared to the previous aircraft, and the interior has been remodeled to enhance meeting spaces and convenience.
Additionally, the exterior of the aircraft uses a national title font developed by applying the typeface of the Korean Declaration of Independence to the Yongbieocheonga woodblock print style, and all the colors used in the Taegeukgi (Korean national flag) are expressed to improve visibility.
The retiring Air Force One, a Boeing 747-400 aircraft, was manufactured in 2001 and has served as the exclusive aircraft for the President of the Republic of Korea for about 11 years since its domestic introduction in 2010.
