View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Bo-ryeong] Regarding the TV debate between Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, and Yoon Seok-youl, the People Power Party presidential candidate, both sides have agreed to begin working-level negotiations starting from the 13th.
Park Joo-min, head of the Democratic Party's campaign debate content team, and Seong Il-jong, a member of the People Power Party, met at the National Assembly on the 12th and stated, "We will form a 3-to-3 negotiation team and meet tomorrow (the 13th) at 3 p.m. to discuss detailed schedules."
The working-level team is expected to engage in intense discussions over the debate date, topics, and other details. Representative Seong explained, "There are many detailed issues, but they will be discussed by the negotiation team. That is why the negotiation team was formed."

The Democratic Party and the People Power Party had expressed differing views the previous day regarding the working-level discussions for the KBS-hosted TV debate. The Democratic Party claimed that the People Power Party did not participate in the working-level talks, but the People Power Party denied this, stating it was "not true."
