Eulji University Strong in Employment... 20-Year Employment Rate 77.3%

View original image[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Eulji University recorded an employment rate of 77.3% in the '2020 Higher Education Institution Graduate Employment Statistics.' This figure is 16.3 percentage points higher than the national average employment rate of 61% for four-year universities.
The detailed employment rates by campus are 83.0% for the Daejeon Campus and 76.3% for the Seongnam Campus. By department, the Funeral Service Department achieved a 100% employment rate. This was followed by the Physical Therapy Department (93.6%), Dental Hygiene Department (89.6%), Optometry Department (87.5%), and Radiology Department (85.9%). Additionally, the retention employment rate (4th survey), which indicates whether university graduates continue to work at their employed workplaces, was recorded at 82.6%.
So Young-jin, head of the Employment and Startup Support Center at Eulji University, explained, "Eulji University’s excellent employment rate is due to specialized education and employment/startup support systems that leverage the advantages of being a health and medical specialized university." He added, "The establishment of an educational environment equipped with virtual reality (VR) devices, 3D printers, and telepresence lectures (real-time video lectures), as well as specialized employment support programs by academic year called 'ECC' and a responsible advising professor system, are producing significant results."
