Using this technology, the master bedroom and master bathroom can be converted into negative or positive pressure spaces. It is expected to help with self-quarantine of patients with contagious diseases such as COVID-19 and prevent transmission within families.
Samsung C&T's Construction Division announced on the 12th that it has developed multiple contactless, anti-virus residential products to be applied to 'Raemian'.
First, the Raemian Anti-Virus System is characterized by applying technology to individual houses to respond to contagious diseases. The negative pressure ventilation system developed by Samsung C&T for multi-family housing can create positive or negative pressure spaces in the master bedroom and master bathroom.
When there are family members with weak immunity, positive pressure can be formed in the master bedroom to prevent external contaminants from entering, and if a family member has a highly contagious disease, the master bedroom can be set to negative pressure to prevent harmful substances from the master bedroom from spreading to other family living spaces.
This product was developed with the intention of introducing contagious disease blocking functions to individual houses in situations requiring self-quarantine or home treatment.
The integrated sterilizing faucet is a product that can use both sterilizing water and regular water functions simultaneously, reflecting lifestyle trends that have become sensitive to hygiene. It can be used to remove residual pesticides not only from cutting boards and dishes but also from vegetables and fruits.

The card-type One-Pass system was designed to be stored in wallets or smartphone cases, complementing the portability and risk of loss of existing wearable-type products. Simply carrying the card-type One-Pass allows contactless access to the apartment's main entrance and automatic elevator call functions.
In addition to existing password or electronic tag systems, facial recognition technology is applied to both the apartment main entrance and unit entrance for convenient access. A voice recognition system has also been developed to help move the elevator to the desired floor without using hands.
Choi Ho-hyung, head of Samsung C&T's Housing M&E Team, said, "We developed this product to alleviate customers' fears and anxieties about virus infections in daily life," adding, "We plan to continue developing differentiated products using 4th industrial revolution technologies."
