Yongin City Provides Welfare Vouchers Worth 2.3 Billion Won
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will provide welfare vouchers worth 2.3 billion KRW to citizens this year as part of the Community Service Investment Project.
Yongin City annually promotes the Community Service Investment Project, which discovers welfare programs that meet citizens' needs and supports vouchers so that citizens can use them.
This year, a total of seven projects will be carried out, including ▲Wooriai Psychological Support ▲Child Emotional Development Support ▲Assistive Device Rental for the Disabled ▲Total Mental Health Care ▲Customized Exercise for the Disabled ▲Massage for the Visually Impaired ▲Integrated Family Counseling.
The city will recruit applicants from the 17th to the 26th and plans to provide services from March until February of next year.
Eligibility and support amounts vary by project, and detailed information can be found on the city’s website. Applications can be submitted at the administrative welfare centers of the applicant’s resident registration jurisdiction (eup, myeon, dong).
