Gori Nuclear Power Plant Invests 9.9 Billion KRW in Regional Development... Announces 'Business Support Project' Contest
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters announced the results of the '2022 Business Support Project' contest.
The 'Business Support Project' is a program where all operators collectively contribute a certain amount of support funds based on their power generation volume to directly or indirectly support various projects for regional development.
Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters conducted the contest starting from August last year and, after three rounds of evaluation, finally selected 77 individual projects.
This year, Gori Headquarters' budget for the Business Support Project is 9.89 billion KRW, which will be used for various regional education scholarship projects, economic revitalization projects, environmental improvement projects, welfare and cultural promotion projects, and more.
The evaluation results and detailed information can be found on the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters website.
The final selected projects will be announced starting this week through notification texts, postal mailings, and individual visits.
