[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in mourned the three firefighters who died in the line of duty at the frozen warehouse fire site in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, saying, "I pray for the souls of the three firefighters who faced the flames with unwavering responsibility and courage until the very end."
Yoo Young-min, Chief of the Presidential Secretariat, visited the funeral hall set up at Jeil Funeral Hall in Pyeongtaek City on the morning of the 7th and conveyed President Moon's message of condolence.
Along with these remarks, President Moon also expressed his condolences to the bereaved families. Chief Yoo stated, "The government will carefully discuss and come up with measures to ensure that such incidents never happen again."
