Jung Young-chae, President of NH Investment & Securities, "The Judgment of New Challenges Belongs to the Customer"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Jung Young-chae, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, emphasized that the judgment for new challenges must be the ‘customer.’ He stressed that the standard for all company operations should also be the ‘customer.’
Jung stated this during the ‘2022 Leaders Conference,’ held from 8:00 AM to 11:40 AM on the 6th, attended by the CEO, all executives, nationwide center heads, and headquarters department heads.
The Leaders Conference is an annual company-wide event held at the beginning of each year to cultivate leadership and share management strategies aimed at achieving business goals. Following last year, it was conducted in a non-face-to-face format using the company’s own video conferencing system.
Jung said, “The company’s goal is to become the best platform operator, and the foundation of a platform operator is the customer,” adding, “Continuous employee training is necessary to provide the best customized services to each customer.”
He continued, “If over the past four years since my inauguration, we have led changes at the company-wide level, from this year onward, I hope each business division will lead changes to provide services exclusively for our customers,” and said, “Do not chase profits, but approach customers based on sincerity.”
Since his appointment in 2018, Jung has emphasized that having sincerity toward customers, rather than focusing on immediate performance, will be the core competitiveness of employees.
He has stated that only by meeting customers, directly listening to their concerns, and proposing solutions can one become a true financial partner.
