Yeongsangang Regional Environmental Office, Inspection of Road Management Practices for Dust Control on Roads with High Dust Emission
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office will conduct on-site inspections targeting 21 designated intensive management roads to reduce fine dust.
The Yeongsangang Office plans to check cleaning status (cleaning frequency, methods, etc.), pre-inspection and removal of road dust, vehicle speed limit enforcement, roadside pollution measurement and disclosure, and guideline awareness until March, the end of the seasonal management period.
An official from the Yeongsangang Office stated, "We regularly inspect the implementation status of management on intensive management roads designated by local governments," adding, "We will work with local governments in the jurisdiction to reduce fine dust generated on roads and protect public health."
