Pukyong National University announced on the 4th that from the 30th to the 3rd, they received applications for the 2022 academic year regular admission, with 5,797 applicants for 1,124 spots. Last year, there were 4,058 applicants for 1,319 spots, resulting in a competition rate of 3.08 to 1.
The competition rate within the quota was 5.38 to 1 this year, with 5,769 applicants for 1,072 spots, while last year it was 3.17 to 1 with 4,013 applicants for 1,267 spots.
By recruitment group, Group A had 2,980 applicants for 530 spots, a competition rate of 5.62 to 1, and Group B had 2,758 applicants for 529 spots, a competition rate of 5.21 to 1.
In Group A, the Department of Physics had the highest competition rate with 120 applicants for 12 spots, a 10 to 1 ratio, and the Department of Earth Environmental Systems Science had 91 applicants for 12 spots, a competition rate of 7.58 to 1.
