Cheongho Nice Conducts Environmental Protection Campaign 'Coffee Capsule Upcycling'
As Part of Practicing ESG Management
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Cheongho Nice announced on the 4th that it will carry out the customer participation environmental protection campaign 'Coffee Capsule Upcycling' as part of practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
This environmental protection campaign, targeting customers using Cheongho's 'Coffee Machine Ice Water Purifier Esprecafe,' collects coffee capsules discarded after coffee extraction upon customer request. Cheongho Nice collects the capsules, produces eco-friendly soap, and delivers it. The produced soap will also be donated to social welfare institutions.

The campaign can be checked on Cheongho Nice's official website, and applications are accepted until the 31st of this month. Won Gwang-jik, Director of Marketing at Cheongho Nice, said, "We launched the coffee capsule upcycling campaign so that customers interested in zero waste but found it difficult to practice can easily participate," adding, "Cheongho Nice will continue various activities to practice ESG management in the future."
