'Korean Tour Rookie of the Year' Kim Dong-eun "Donation to Fund for Underprivileged Patients"
Kim Dong-eun (25, Golfzon), the 2021 Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour Rookie of the Year, has joined the donation movement.
His agency, Rico Sports Agency, announced, "Kim Dong-eun recently visited Seoul Asan Medical Center and donated 10 million KRW to the Pediatric and Adolescent Underprivileged Patient Support Fund." Kim said, "It is a difficult time for everyone due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," and added, "I hope this donation can provide some support to those in need." He also stated, "I will strive to be a player who repays the love received from fans in the new season."

Kim Dong-eun is a promising player who was part of the National Reserve Team (2016) and the National Team (2019). During his amateur career, he won titles such as the Heo Jeong-gu Cup, Songam Cup, and Hosim Cup. He earned his tour card through the Korean Tour Qualifying Tournament (QT) and debuted on the regular tour last year. In May of last year, he won the Gunsan CC Open, claiming victory in only his second tournament since debuting. He participated in 17 tournaments, finishing in the top 10 three times, and ranked 17th in prize money with 233.7 million KRW.
