According to Shinsegae Department Store on the 4th, as nostalgic fashion items attract attention, brands are successively releasing remake products. The Tteokbokki coat, which was a uniform fashion for middle and high school students in the past, is being released by luxury brands such as Burberry and Saint Laurent, and short padding jackets have diversified their designs to increase options.
Sales of UGG boots, imported and sold by Shinsegae International which holds the official domestic rights, grew by 65% last year compared to the previous year. The short padding jacket 'Nupsi,' released in collaboration with The North Face by the Shinsegae Department Store's select shop Case Study last November, sold out on the day of its launch.
Last month, Shinsegae Department Store's women's wear sales increased by 42.5% year-on-year, and young fashion sales grew by 60.4%. Outdoor sales, led by short padding products, also rose by 25.5%.
