Mujugun, 2022 Horticultural Crop Pilot Project Promotion
17 Projects Including Apple Pest Monitoring and Control Pilot, 1.06 Billion KRW Invested
[Muju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Muju-gun announced on the 29th that it is accepting applications from those who wish to participate in 17 horticultural crop pilot projects to be promoted in 2022 to realize ‘Healthy Income Agriculture.’
Farmers who wish to participate in the pilot projects must apply by January 21 of next year, and inquiries can be made to the Industry Team at the administrative welfare centers of the respective eup/myeon.
The target projects include △Apple pest and disease monitoring and control pilot for high-quality Firefly fruit production △Functional Firefly apple production pilot △Pollen support project for artificial pollination of fruit trees.
Additionally, to minimize weather disasters, the projects include △Early control support for peach bacterial disease △Sunshade net application pilot to reduce sunburn damage in open-field orchards △Digital agriculture apple automation technology pilot △Dissemination pilot project for frost damage prevention technology using irrigation facilities △Fruit tree frost damage prevention cultivation environment improvement pilot project.
Furthermore, for facility vegetables and specialty crops, applications are also accepted for △Small and medium-sized watermelon labor-saving vertical cultivation pilot △Summer premium cherry tomato cultivation pilot △Strawberry pot cultivation pilot to reduce growing media △Automatic irrigation facility pilot to overcome drought in Omija △Functional package wild vegetable production pilot △Ginseng dedicated shading vinyl greenhouse cultivation pilot △Support project for fostering domestic flower varieties.
In addition, △Gastrodia elata seed production pilot △Short-term cultivation field verification pilot project using rain shelter facilities for Gastrodia elata are also included.
