Sejeong Introduces Metaverse System for New Employee Recruitment
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Fashion company Sejeong announced on the 28th that it conducted open recruitment for new employees in the second half of 2021.
The recruitment fields included a total of 9 job categories such as Product Planning MD, Purchasing and Production, VMD, Clothing Design, Sales, and CRM, and the hiring was conducted by subdividing the jobs rather than using a batch recruitment method.
In particular, due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, the company introduced a recruitment method using the metaverse instead of the existing offline recruitment process, converting most of the procedures from practical interviews to AI competency evaluations into non-face-to-face formats.
The company explained that the AI competency evaluation uses artificial intelligence analysis technology to objectively assess various competencies of applicants, including personality and aptitude, performance creation, communication skills, and growth potential.
The selected interns will be assigned to the field for three months to learn and be evaluated on job suitability and business capabilities.
