Police Book Man in His 40s for Illegal Filming While Pretending to Consult at Bank Counter
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 40s who pretended to receive consultation at a bank counter while secretly filming an employee's body was arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 22nd, the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul booked Mr. A (45) on charges of violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act (filming using a camera, etc.).
Mr. A is accused of secretly filming the body of an employee sitting across from him with his mobile phone at a bank counter in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, at around 1:50 PM the previous day.
Police who responded to the report found videos and photos of the victim's body on Mr. A's mobile phone and arrested him under current law. It was reported that since last year, Mr. A had been visiting the bank branch and designating the victim as his counselor.
