Park Ji-young Appointed as the 33rd Commissioner of Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency, Head of Central Police Academy
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Park Ji-young, the head of the Central Police Academy, has been appointed as the 33rd Commissioner of the Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency. She is expected to take office as early as the 20th.
Newly appointed Commissioner Park is from Haenam, Jeonnam, and graduated from Gwangju Sungil High School, Chosun University with a degree in Public Administration, Yonsei University Graduate School (Master of Laws), and Dongguk University Graduate School (Doctorate in Police Science).
Since entering the police force in 1993 as the 41st class of officer candidates, she has served as the Police Agency Inspection Officer, Information Equipment Policy Officer, Education and Victim Protection Officer at the Police Agency, and as the 1st Deputy Commissioner of Jeonbuk Police Agency and 2nd Deputy Commissioner of Jeonnam Police Agency.
Commissioner Park is internally recognized for her outstanding work execution skills and policy capabilities.
