‘Sharing Ten to One to Warm the Cold Winter’
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Deukryang-myeon, Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) announced on the 13th that the Hope Dream Council (Co-Chairmen Jo Seung-kwon and Choi Seong-bok) hosted a 'Neighborly Love Rice Sharing' delivery ceremony.
About 20 residents, including rice donors, attended the delivery ceremony that day.
Since September, Deukryang-myeon has collected 3,640 kg of white rice (274 bags of 10 kg, 45 bags of 20 kg) through small contributions over three months.
The donated rice was delivered to 59 social welfare facilities and senior centers, 80 vulnerable households including low-income and single-parent families, and about 130 households in welfare blind spots recommended by village chiefs.
Along with the rice sharing event, winter safety inspections and welfare checks were also conducted simultaneously.
