About 20 officials, including Bae Seonggil, Director of the Job Economy Office of Gyeongbuk Province, and Choi Gimu, Mayor of Yeongcheon, attended the plaque ceremony.
Gyeongbuk Province is carrying out the Happy Store project to focus on fostering excellent stores among local small business owners with competitiveness and outstanding growth potential, and to spread them as successful models.
They provide customized environment improvements such as up to 10 million KRW support for signboard replacement per store, interior decoration improvements, and expert consulting on management difficulties.
Since it started last year and until this year, a total of 52 stores have been selected, and they plan to systematically manage and consult a total of 100 stores to establish a successful support model for small business owners.
Tokki Bbangya was selected as a Happy Store in recognition of its differentiated strategy of prioritizing customers’ health by using only organic flour and organic sugar, creating regular customers and increasing sales.
Tokki Bbangya CEO Eom Eunjeong said, “I want to meet customers for a long time with organic products that help health,” and added, “I am happy to be selected as the first Happy Store because I do what I love, and I will create a bakery that is steadily loved with pride.”
