BTS 'My Universe' Climbs Back on US Billboard Charts
The group BTS collaborated with Coldplay on the song "My Universe," which made a "comeback" on the US Billboard "Hot 100" chart.
According to the latest chart (dated December 4) released by the US music media Billboard on the 30th of last month (local time), "My Universe" rose 8 spots from the previous week to rank 29 on the main singles chart, the "Hot 100." Since debuting at number 1 on the "Hot 100" chart dated October 9, "My Universe" has maintained a strong presence in the top ranks for nine consecutive weeks. BTS achieved good results on multiple charts, not only ranking on the "Hot 100" but also reaching number 4 on the "Digital Song Sales" chart with "My Universe."
BTS's fourth full-length album, "MAP OF THE SOUL : 7," re-entered the Billboard main album chart, the "Billboard 200," at number 187. The album also re-entered the "Top Album Sales" chart, ranking at number 58. The album "BE," released in November last year, ranked 67th on the "Top Current Album Sales" chart.
Additionally, BTS secured high rankings on the "Billboard Global (excluding US)" and "Billboard Global 200" charts, which measure global influence. These two charts compile streaming and sales data from over 200 countries and regions worldwide to determine rankings.
On the "Billboard Global (excluding US)" chart, "My Universe" ranked 12th, "Butter" 20th, "Dynamite" 38th, and "Permission to Dance" 53rd. On the "Billboard Global 200" chart, "My Universe" ranked 20th, "Butter" 34th, "Dynamite" 55th, and "Permission to Dance" 86th.
Meanwhile, BTS will hold the concert "BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LA" at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, on the 1st and 2nd, following shows on the 27th and 28th of last month.
