On the 29th, a petition titled "My younger brother passed away two days after receiving the Pfizer vaccine" was posted on the Blue House National Petition Board. As of 7:30 PM on the 30th, the petition had received support from about 1,650 people.
The petitioner, Mr. A, began by saying, "My younger brother is 40 years old this year. He was a healthy brother without any underlying diseases."
He continued, "After receiving the Janssen vaccine, my brother received the Pfizer vaccine as a booster shot this time," adding, "He left us only two days after the vaccination on November 17."
Mr. A said, "After the autopsy on the 22nd, the initial findings indicated that his heart was swollen and his cardiovascular system was blocked," and added, "The death certificate stated the cause of death as 'unknown.' My brother was a healthy person."
He expressed his frustration, saying, "My brother trusted the government's words and got the booster shot. The vaccine he took to survive became a deadly vaccine that sent my brother to the heavens."
Finally, Mr. A urged, "If there is one wish, it is to know the unjust cause of my brother's death," and appealed, "Not just saying 'there is no causal relationship,' but please clarify what the cause of death is."

On the 29th, President Moon Jae-in presided over the 'Special COVID-19 Prevention Inspection Meeting' at the Blue House and said, "Now, the third dose is not an additional vaccination but a basic vaccination, and it is necessary to shift the perception that vaccination is only complete after the third dose," stressing the importance of the booster shot.
President Moon said, "The core of the special prevention measures is still vaccination," and added, "I hope the government will do its utmost to ensure that all citizens who have completed the second dose can complete the third dose early under this awareness."
Meanwhile, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also announced that, with the discovery of the new variant virus 'Omicron,' it recommends a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for all adults in the United States.
