The Bar Association Files Constitutional Complaint and Injunction Request Against Partial Ban on Tax Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] The Korean Bar Association (President Jongyeop Lee) is filing a constitutional complaint and injunction in opposition to the amendment of the Tax Accountant Act that partially prohibits lawyers from performing tax-related tasks.
On the 29th, the Bar Association announced, "We will file a constitutional complaint against Article 20, Paragraph 2 of the Tax Accountant Act tomorrow and apply for an injunction to suspend its effect."
