MedicBioNK Enters Bio Metaverse... "MOU with Beauty Bakery"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] MedicBioNK announced on the 29th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Beauty Bakery, which is promoting the blockchain platform new business ‘LOTT Project’ for the metaverse business.
Through this agreement, MedicBioNK and Beauty Bakery plan to integrate bio and medical technologies into blockchain platforms, cryptocurrencies, NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), and metaverse businesses.
Beauty Bakery is promoting the blockchain platform new business ‘LOTT Project’ alongside its core beauty brand business. The ‘LOTT Project’ is a payment platform implemented online by applying NFT technology to K-Beauty and K-POP. With the ‘LOTT Token,’ product payments are possible within the metaverse ecosystem linked to the ‘LOTT Platform,’ and it is expected to be usable in external offline stores in the future.
Beauty Bakery is jointly promoting the ‘LOTT Project’ with Softec Corporation, a blockchain platform and IT solution development specialist company. On the 22nd, Softec Corporation and Beauty Bakery announced that they will conduct a private sale of the ‘LOTT Token’ overseas, including Europe and Japan.
MedicBioNK is an affiliate of Daechang Solution, a KOSDAQ-listed company, and is researching anticancer immunotherapy using NK cells. It has acquired the license to develop ‘anticancer immune cell therapy using NK cells’ from the Southeast Regional Radiation Medicine Institute and is developing anticancer drugs. It possesses technology to mass-produce NK cells and is conducting preclinical trials for immuno-oncology drugs targeting pancreatic cancer.
