On the 24th, the Exchange announced that it provided sponsorship funds to 15 welfare organizations in Busan selected through a public contest supporting vulnerable groups in the Busan region.
Since 2019, the Exchange's public contest supporting vulnerable groups in Busan has been a social contribution activity that invites proposals from Busan welfare organizations for welfare program support, emergency crisis assistance, and other sector-specific projects, providing funding accordingly. The sponsorship funds will be used as project expenses for welfare organizations conducting support projects for vulnerable groups in Busan starting this October.
At the handover ceremony held at the Busan headquarters on the day, Son Byung-du, Chairman of the Exchange, and representatives of the 15 selected welfare organizations attended together to deliver the sponsorship funds and hold a project briefing session.
