Gwangju Seo-gu 'Beauty Arirang Hanmadang' Held Online

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Dae-seok) held the ‘Beauty Arirang Hair Show Festival’ event introducing advanced beauty techniques and promoting the development of the beauty cultural industry through a non-face-to-face online live broadcast on the 23rd at Convention Hall 3 of the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center.

According to Seo-gu on the 24th, the ‘Beauty Arirang Festival’ held this year for the 11th time was sponsored by Seo-gu, Gwangju, and organized by the Korea Beauty Association Gwangju Seo-gu Branch.

The event was conducted in three parts: ▲ Part 1 ‘Harmony of Classic and Modern’ classical hair show with Arirang ▲ Part 2 technical demonstrations by four designers ▲ Part 3 fashion hair color show.

Due to the impact of COVID-19, auxiliary events such as nails, tattoos, and face painting, which were previously held, were not conducted.

Prizes were also provided by lottery to participants on the YouTube channel on the day of the event.

A Seo-gu official said, “Despite the difficult situation due to COVID-19, this event was prepared with the passion of beauty professionals, so we have prepared more excellent works than ever before,” and added, “We hope you do not miss this great opportunity to experience the beauty of classic hair and the latest trends in modern beauty.”
