Jeju Fire Department Conducts 'Emergency Rescue Control Team Function Proficiency Tabletop Exercise'
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station (Chief Ko Jae-woo) announced on the 23rd that it conducted an 'Emergency Rescue Control Team Functional Proficiency Tabletop Exercise' this month to redefine the duties of each role, assuming an accident involving hazardous gas leakage at the Jeju Sewage Treatment Plant located in Dodu-dong.
The exercise focused on checking the response capabilities through the execution of duties and roles by each team of the control unit during a situation involving multiple casualties and a fire caused by hazardous gas leakage at the Jeju Sewage Treatment Plant.
Ko Jae-woo, Chief of Jeju Fire Station, said, "Through practical training assuming specific disaster situations, we will strengthen on-site response capabilities to respond quickly and accurately to any disaster situation."
