Winia Dimchae Opens 'Winia Dimchae Park' Showroom in the Metaverse
Open on 'Gather Town', operating until December 13
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Winia Dimchae announced on the 19th that it has opened the 'Winia Dimchae Park' showroom on Gather Town, one of the metaverse (extended virtual world) platforms.
This showroom was planned to actively communicate with the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), who are familiar with digital spaces, and to provide consumers with a unique enjoyment. It will be operated until December 13.
First, Winia Dimchae Park implemented an interior design similar to an offline showroom in the virtual space. The space is divided into the Dimchae Zone and Winia Zone, where Winia Dimchae's main products such as kimchi refrigerators, refrigerators, air conditioners, and air purifiers are arranged. Additionally, an information kiosk was installed to easily provide advertising videos and information related to the products.
The showroom also includes metaverse-exclusive attractions that differentiate it from offline stores. There are game zones, event zones, and photo zones throughout, allowing participants to move around the showroom and participate in events. Events such as an OX quiz on Winia Dimchae products, advertising video viewing events, and photo zone certification shot events are held, and winners are given generous prizes through a draw, including the Dimchae Cook low-carb rice cooker, Winia Pureflex air purifier, department store gift certificates, and Americano gifticons.
Choi Ji-hye, head of brand marketing at Winia Dimchae, said, "We opened the metaverse showroom to communicate with customers in a differentiated way based on virtual content," adding, "We will continue to actively promote various products of Winia Dimchae as a comprehensive home appliance brand using the metaverse."
