[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 19th that it will hold the social contribution activity for military personnel, the '2021 Soldier's Dignity Online Youth Talk Concert,' in collaboration with the Ministry of National Defense, the Korea Mecenat Association, and the Community Chest of Korea.
This talk concert will be held online in a non-face-to-face format, following last year, and will take place three times in total on the 19th, 23rd (Tuesday), and 30th (Tuesday). Under the theme 'To Today's Youth,' Park Seri, head coach of the women's national golf team, Kim Min-cheol, CEO of Yanadoo, and the female duo Oksang Dalbit will each deliver lectures conveying messages of 'challenge, growth, and hope.'
Additionally, a pre-participation program matching the three speakers with each unit and military personnel has been planned. Through the pre-participation program consisting of a Q&A corner 'Youth Mic, Listen to My Heart' and a story delivery event 'Youth Confession,' soldiers and speakers who cannot attend the lecture venue in person can communicate online.
The first speaker, Coach Park Seri, will present her challenge story in a talk show format under the theme 'Good Shot Even When Shaken! Take the Tee Shot of Challenge!' The second speaker, CEO Kim Min-cheol, will give a lecture titled 'How to Design 100% Success Based on the Experiment of Failure.' The third speaker, Oksang Dalbit, will conduct a YouTube live session combining a performance of their representative songs and a lecture under the theme 'You Worked Hard Today, It's Okay Tomorrow' together with soldiers from the Army Special Warfare Command.
A Hyundai Motor Group official said, "We are pleased to be able to hold special lectures and talk shows for the 10th year this year, providing healing opportunities to military personnel who work day and night for the Republic of Korea and contributing to the growth of the younger generation." He added, "Hyundai Motor Group will continue to prepare various social contribution activities that contribute to establishing an advanced military culture and nurturing future talents."
