[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] On the 18th, Gimhae City in Gyeongnam held the 'Gimhae Youth Startup Seminar' at the Gimhae Startup Cafe.
This seminar was organized to explore development plans for the Gimhae-type youth startup aimed at creating a sustainable youth startup ecosystem, promoting youth job creation, and encouraging regional settlement.
Attendees included youth startup consulting experts, young entrepreneurs, the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, Inje University Startup Support Group, Gyeongnam Youth Startup Association, Gimhae Life Science Promotion Agency, and relevant city department officials.
The seminar proceeded with expert presentations and policy suggestions on government youth startup support policy directions, prospects for promising youth startup items and the necessity of niche marketing, full-cycle strategies and tasks for youth startup success, listening to young entrepreneurs' difficulties, and discussions on directions for youth startup development.
Participants proposed various policies such as establishing local test beds, strategic alliances with local universities, research institutes, and investment institutions, installing youth startup incubation spaces, fostering private startup support specialized institutions, and forming a startup culture (building a failure safety net, improving startup awareness).
