View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), a lifestyle trend pursuing healthy and balanced living is emerging, making 'nuts' popular.
According to Lotte Mart on the 18th, nut sales in the first half of this year increased by 15.3% compared to the previous year. In particular, cashew nut sales this month rose by 31.1% compared to the same period last year. Cashew nuts are widely used as a representative vegan ingredient to replace animal protein such as milk, in products like cashew nut milk, cream, and butter.
Lotte Mart is introducing 'crispy-shelled cashew nuts' directly sourced from Vietnam. The biggest feature is that they can be consumed with the shell intact, providing a crunchier texture than regular cashew nuts.
