On the 16th, Kim appeared on CBS Radio's 'Hanpan Seungbu' and said, "I expected that once she is selected as a candidate, she would immediately start activities, but although it is a bit delayed, won't she engage in such (presidential election-related) activities soon?"
Kim explained, "Actually, I thought that once she was selected as a candidate, she could naturally start activities, but there are various reasons, aren't there? Basically, Yoon Seok-yeol's wife is a businesswoman, and I heard she is very sociable in society," he said.
He added, "However, not only Yoon Seok-yeol, the opposition party's presidential candidate, but also his wife and mother-in-law are under investigation with such momentum that they seem to be accused of all sorts of baseless crimes. Although this may not be the only reason, it seems that there are indeed several restrictive conditions. I think she will start activities at an appropriate time," he said.
Meanwhile, Kwon Oh-soo, chairman of Deutsch Motors, who is accused of stock manipulation, was arrested on the night of the 16th. This is expected to give momentum to the prosecution's investigation into Kim, the spouse of candidate Yoon, who is also suspected of stock manipulation.
Kim is suspected of having acted as a 'broker' by entrusting 1 billion won to Lee, one of the key figures in stock manipulation, in January 2010.

Kim was also previously suspected of working in entertainment establishments under the stage name 'Julie.' In response, Kim dismissed the allegations in an interview with a media outlet, saying, "It's ridiculous. If I were Julie, there would be people who remember or have seen Julie who worked there," she said.
