bhc Jokbal Sanghoe launches 4 new menu items including 'Jokbaengi'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] bhc-operated Jokbal Sanghoe announced on the 17th that it will simultaneously launch four new menu items.
First, ‘Jokbaengi’ is a set menu that allows customers to enjoy the signature menu of Jokbal Sanghoe, ‘Macho Jokbal,’ together with the sweet, sour, and spicy ‘Golbaengi Muchim’ (spicy whelk salad). It is a value-packed menu where you can taste both jokbal and golbaengi at once, introduced as a special menu for jokbal enthusiasts.
‘Golbaengi Muchim’ is a dish that mixes chewy golbaengi with dried shredded squid (jinmichae), crunchy cabbage, cucumber, carrot, and various other vegetables, all tossed in a sweet, sour, and spicy sauce developed by Jokbal Sanghoe. It is served with somyeon noodles that pair well with the spicy flavor, making it a generous portion perfect for a meal or as a beer side dish.
‘Odeng Tang’ is a menu item simmered with a rich and refreshing broth, combining seven different types of fish cakes, shiitake mushrooms, radish, green onions, Cheongyang chili peppers, crown daisy (ssukgat), and other ingredients. Especially notable is the fragrant aroma and savory taste of ssukgat, making it an ideal dish with warm broth for chilly weather like these days.
