Sancheong Cultural Center, Part of Senior Cultural Program ... Ceramic Artwork Exhibition
Exhibition of Ceramic Works Created by Local Elders
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong Cultural Center in Gyeongnam is hosting an exhibition of ceramic works made directly by local senior citizens.
On the 16th, Sancheong Cultural Center announced that it will hold an exhibition of works by participants in the 2021 Sancheong Cultural Center Senior Cultural Program Contest project, "Feeling Sancheong Clay, Joyful Touch of Clay," until the 19th.
This exhibition allows visitors to view works by a total of 26 participating members as well as a solo exhibition by the instructor in one place.
The exhibition is held on the 3rd floor auditorium of the main building of Sancheong Cultural Center until the 19th.
This project, now in its second year targeting senior citizens, teaches the process of making works directly, including ceramic shaping and coloring.
By creating works using Goryeong soil, a valuable resource of Sancheong, it helps enhance not only the participants' artistic skills but also their love for their hometown.
