[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hyundai Card announced on the 16th that it has launched the 'Hyundai Card MX Black,' which combines the special features of Hyundai Card M and Hyundai Card X with premium benefits.
This card simultaneously offers the point accumulation benefits of Hyundai Card M and the specialized discount benefits of Hyundai Card X. It also includes premium benefits that can be used at airports and luxury hotels. The card is designed for customers with high loyalty to Hyundai Card M and X and is only available to members who currently hold Hyundai Card M or X.
Hyundai Card MX Black has created an 'MX Black Zone' consisting of 32 major brands to provide greater benefits at merchants frequently used by customers, offering a 10% discount in this zone.
The MX Black Zone is composed of a 'Shopping Zone' including major domestic online shopping malls, large supermarkets, and department stores; a 'Food & Drink Zone' consisting of delivery apps and coffee specialty stores; and a 'Mobility Zone' including gas stations, public transportation, and convenience stores. Depending on the previous month's spending, customers can receive discounts up to KRW 30,000 per month in the Shopping Zone, and up to KRW 25,000 per month each in the Food & Drink Zone and Mobility Zone (maximum KRW 80,000 discount per month).
Hyundai Card MX Black members can enjoy a 1% M Point accumulation benefit on all spending at any merchant along with discounts. For example, if a customer spends KRW 50,000 in the MX Black Zone, they receive a KRW 5,000 discount and 500 M Points simultaneously. Additionally, when purchasing new cars from Hyundai Motor Company and Kia, 2% M Points are accumulated, and when refueling at GS Caltex, a special accumulation of 80 M Points per liter is provided.
Travelers can also enjoy premium benefits. They can use lounges (Sky Hub and Martina) at Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport, as well as 28 domestic luxury hotels and valet parking services at Incheon International Airport free of charge.
The plate design is available in five types (four plastic, one metal), reinterpreting the unique weight and sophistication of the black color. The annual fee is KRW 150,000 (KRW 50,000 for family cards).
