Jin Air Reports Q3 Operating Loss of 44.5 Billion KRW, Reduced Deficit Compared to Previous Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Jin Air announced on the 15th that it recorded sales of 60.6 billion KRW and an operating loss of 44.5 billion KRW in the third quarter of this year. Sales increased by 13.4% compared to 53.5 billion KRW in the third quarter of last year, and the operating loss slightly decreased from 49.2 billion KRW. A Jin Air official stated, "In the fourth quarter, the resumption of international flights and recovery of travel sentiment are expected due to the gradual transition to normal daily life," adding, "The capital erosion is also expected to be resolved through a paid-in capital increase worth 123.8 billion KRW."
