View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Yoon Seok-youl, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, met and greeted each other at an event held on the 10th at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
The two candidates, meeting for the first time since being confirmed as presidential candidates, briefly talked about having coincidentally met at the Seongnam courthouse in the late 1990s.
The two candidates also shook hands with Sim Sang-jung, the candidate of the Justice Party, and greeted business figures including Chey Tae-won, chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Sohn Kyung-shik, chairman of the Korea Employers Federation.
