I'Park Mall Offers Instant 5,000 Won Discount for On-site Payments via KakaoPay
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] HDC I'Park Mall announced on the 9th that it will offer an immediate discount of 5,000 KRW on-site once per person when paying 30,000 KRW or more with KakaoPay Money until the 30th, to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the introduction of the 'KakaoPay Easy Payment Service.'
Last November, I'Park Mall piloted the KakaoPay easy payment system at over 120 food and beverage (F&B) stores located within the mall, and since April this year, it has expanded the system to fashion and living stores. Since April, when the KakaoPay easy payment system began to be used in all stores within I'Park Mall, the number of payments using KakaoPay has increased by nearly 33% over the past six months.

An I'Park Mall official said, "We expect that KakaoPay's payment convenience and various promotional benefits, aligned with Korea's largest shopping festival 'Korea Sale Festa' and I'Park Mall's 'Wedding Fair,' will have a positive effect on attracting customers to offline stores."
