Hamyang-gun Beopsarang Hamyang District Council, School Violence Prevention Campaign
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Ministry of Justice's Beopsarang Committee Hamyang District Council conducted a campaign activity to prevent school violence on the morning of the 4th at the main gate of Hamyang Jeil High School.
The activity, carried out to coincide with school arrival time, involved about 10 Beopsarang members including Chairman Jeong Gu-sang, Principal Jeong Byeong-ju, and school teachers.
The council promoted methods to prevent school violence, including laws on responding to school violence and reporting procedures, to students arriving at school.

Chairman Jeong Gu-sang said, "School violence is becoming increasingly diverse, including not only direct violence but also violence through online means," adding, "School violence is not simply a problem for students alone, but an issue that adults should also take an interest in and actively work together to resolve."
