"Thorough Inspection of Busan Port Construction Sites" … Busan Port Authority Launches Comprehensive Quality and Safety Checks
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan Port Authority (BPA) is set to conduct a joint inspection of quality management at construction sites and vulnerable areas for safety accidents within Busan Port.
The authority announced on the 3rd that it will carry out the "Second Half of 2021 Construction Site Quality and Safety Joint Inspection" in collaboration with private experts.
This inspection will depart from the previous focus on large-scale projects and will thoroughly cover all BPA sites, including small-scale construction sites.
They plan to focus on inspecting types of safety accidents frequently occurring in the construction industry through prior analysis.
They will also verify whether the major issues identified during the first half inspection have been improved to enhance the effectiveness of the inspection.
Additionally, based on the inspection results, BPA plans to reward construction companies and construction management teams with high levels of work improvement to motivate voluntary work enhancements.
