Hamyang-gun Selects 29 Teams Amid High Interest in 'One Month Living in Hamyang' Program
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 29th that it has selected a total of 29 teams, including families, couples, and friends, for the long-term stay travel project ‘Living One Month in Hamyang.’
Due to the increased domestic tourism demand caused by COVID-19, participants selected amid higher-than-usual interest will stay in Hamyang for about 3 to 30 days, experiencing individually planned free travel, tourist resources, and cultural arts, and will promote Hamyang’s tourist attractions by posting at least two travel photos per day on their personal SNS.
After completing the one-month stay in Hamyang, participants will receive support for accommodation fees (up to 50,000 KRW per day) and experience fees (50,000 to 80,000 KRW per person).
In particular, the third group of participants selected this time is expected to relieve the stress from city life and the frustration caused by COVID-19 by enjoying both nature and activity experiences in Hamyang, with Jirisan Mountain’s autumn foliage at its peak as the backdrop.
