Ant Village is a neighborhood formed when refugees during the Korean War set up tents and lived together, and it is a run-down hillside community with poor residential conditions. This volunteer activity was organized to help prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19 in Ant Village, where mainly low-income residents live.
On that day, members of the Haebaragi Volunteer Group disinfected public facilities frequently used by residents and visitors while going around playgrounds, parks, and other nearby areas of Ant Village. Afterwards, they contributed to creating a pleasant environment in the village by collecting various trash around the facilities as part of a cleanup activity.
