Igloo Security Acquires Piolink... Strengthening AI and Cloud Capabilities
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Security company Igloo Security is acquiring Pionlink, a subsidiary of NHN.
Igloo Security announced on the 27th that it has signed a stock purchase agreement (SPA) to acquire all shares (28.97%) of NHN and Pionlink.
Pionlink is a company specializing in optimizing cloud data centers. It stands out in the field of Application Delivery Controllers (ADC). After the acquisition, CEO Cho Youngchul will maintain the management system and operate independently.
Through this acquisition, Igloo Security will expand its business into network and cloud security fields, diversifying its security portfolio. It plans to expand the supply of solutions and services in cross and additional forms through both companies' customer channels, discover new customers, and further strengthen its security management business.
