Kenkoa Participates in 'ADEX 2021'... Strengthening Global Partnering
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] KenkoAerospace is participating in the international aerospace and defense industry exhibition to strengthen partnerships with global companies and accelerate its entry into overseas markets.
KenkoAerospace announced on the 18th that it will participate in the "Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Industry Exhibition 2021 (hereafter ADEX)" held at Seoul Airport for five days from the 19th to the 23rd.
At this exhibition, KenkoAerospace plans to share technologies and achievements related to aviation MRO, space development equipment, defense industry, and UAM (Urban Air Mobility) based on its accumulated brand value and technological competitiveness over many years. In addition, it will speed up its overseas market penetration by holding business meetings with existing major domestic and international aerospace and defense industry clients and seeking diversification of new business partners.
ADEX is the largest aerospace and defense exhibition in Korea, hosted by the Korea Aerospace Industries Association, Korea Defense Industry Association, and KOTRA, and supported by the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the Army and Air Force Headquarters. It started in 1996 as the "Seoul Air Show" and has been integrated with the ground defense sector since 2009.
This year, it is expected to be the largest ever, with over 440 companies from 28 countries participating. During the exhibition, more than 300 high-ranking officials, including defense ministers, chiefs of staff, and acquisition officers from 45 countries, are expected to visit Korea.
ADEX is recognized as a venue for the latest technology and information exchange, attracting attention from domestic and international industry, academia, research, and military officials, as well as overseas buyers, by unveiling actual models of leading aerospace products for the first time worldwide. It is held every odd-numbered year in October to expand export opportunities for domestic aerospace and defense products and to facilitate technology exchange with advanced overseas companies. This year’s theme is "Aerospace and Defense Industry Leaping Forward as a Post-Corona Global Nation."
