Hapcheon-gun Provides Portable Emergency Bells to Social Welfare Officers
Preparing for Exposure to Various Risk Situations
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it has provided 'portable emergency bells' as a safety measure for public officials performing social welfare duties.
The portable emergency bell is a rescue request device that allows social welfare public officials to easily request help from 112 or acquaintances in case they are exposed to various dangerous situations during home visit consultations related to welfare civil complaints.
In an emergency, pulling the cover of the emergency bell triggers an alarm sound and sends an emergency message to pre-registered acquaintances and the 112 text service center.
Since September, Hapcheon-gun has been operating a 'mobile safety number service' that allows social welfare public officials to communicate with civil petitioners safely without exposing personal information.
