[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KTB Investment & Securities has decided to repurchase its own shares worth 3 billion KRW. The company plans to continue shareholder-friendly management based on steady growth.
KTB Investment & Securities announced on the 14th that it held a board meeting and resolved to acquire treasury stock worth 3 billion KRW. The acquisition period is from the 15th to October 14, 2022. The shares will be purchased on the market through a trust contract.
Previously, in March last year, KTB Investment & Securities acquired 1,290,313 shares through a 3 billion KRW treasury stock repurchase. At that time, key executives voluntarily participated in the share repurchase to help stabilize the stock price.
The company intends to continue shareholder-friendly management even at a time of clear growth. KTB Investment & Securities recorded a net profit of 92.8 billion KRW in the first half of this year, setting a record high profit that surpassed last year's annual net profit in just half a year.
