There are expectations that Samsung Electronics' next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S22 Ultra model, will also be released in the 'Burgundy Red' color.
On the 12th (local time), IT specialist media PhoneArena and others reported this citing IT tipster Ice Universe. The day before, Ice Universe posted a photo of the Galaxy S8 in Burgundy color on his Twitter, stating "Burgundy Red return."
This tweet did not mention a specific Galaxy model, but it is presumed to be the upcoming S22 Ultra model.
Earlier, GalaxyClub also revealed the S22 color lineup, stating that the Ultra model will be released in white, black, and dark red. The dark red option was included only in the Ultra line. PhoneArena said, "Smartphone manufacturers are very conservative when it comes to colors. Black and gray dominate," adding, "The tip that Burgundy Red will return matches recently leaked information."

Samsung Electronics introduced the Burgundy Red color option when launching the S8 in 2017. Later, the Galaxy S10 series unveiled the Cardinal Red color. The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) and Galaxy S21 lineup included Cloud Red and Phantom Red colors, respectively.
