Gyeongnam National University announced on the 12th that it has signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Saemaul Undong Central Association regarding the operation and support of Saemaul clubs and the development of joint projects linked to regional innovation growth.
The signing ceremony was attended by Gyeongnam National University President Park Jae-gyu, Saemaul Undong Central Association Chairman Yeom Hong-cheol, Saemaul Undong Central Association Secretary-General Kim Seok-jin, and Gyeongsangnam-do Saemaul Association Chairman Ahn Hwa-young, among others.
Both organizations agreed to carry out projects supporting the establishment, operation, and management of university student Saemaul Undong clubs.
Through Saemaul clubs, they will develop joint projects linked to regional industry and innovation growth and cooperate mutually to achieve carbon neutrality.
They also pledged to participate in domestic and international Saemaul Undong volunteer programs, support and participate in education, academic research, and events.
