Tak Hyun-min, the Blue House Protocol Secretary, attracted attention by appearing in a gukunbok, a military uniform worn by Joseon Dynasty magistrates and military officers.
President Moon presided over the 44th video Cabinet meeting held at the Blue House at 10 a.m. Participants of the Cabinet meeting, connected via video between the Blue House, Government Seoul Office, and Sejong Office, all appeared in hanbok. For attendees other than Cabinet members, wearing hanbok or suits without ties was recommended.
In particular, Secretary Tak stood out by wearing a gukunbok featuring red, blue, and yellow colors and a large jeonrip hat. Regarding this, Secretary Tak told the media that day, "The President wore hanbok, and as the Protocol Secretary, it felt awkward not to wear it. Rather than just wearing ordinary clothes, since I am the Protocol Secretary, I borrowed and wore the traditional military honor guard uniform."
