KT Signs AI Infrastructure Enhancement Agreement with AI Solution Company 'More'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement with 'More', a domestic artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure solution specialist company, to strengthen AI infrastructure capabilities.
More is a company that develops AI compilers, libraries, and large-scale AI cluster operation solutions to implement and execute AI.
KT plans to launch a cloud service by the end of this year that can be used as 'Hyperscale AI' infrastructure in cooperation with More. The two companies will also develop an integrated resource management platform for efficient operation of AI graphics processing unit (GPU) resources.
KT stated, "The cooperation between the two companies is significant in that it applies domestic technology to the AI infrastructure industry, which currently relies on foreign solutions," and added, "The outcome of this collaboration can be expanded into hyperscale AI cluster infrastructure for large-scale AI models, a hot topic in the AI field, marking an important milestone in the Korean AI market."
Lee Mi-hee, Executive Director of KT Cloud/DX Business Division, said, "Based on More's excellent capabilities in AI software and KT's cloud technology and know-how, we will create a powerful synergy," and added, "KT Cloud will pioneer a differentiated platform market through various collaborations with outstanding partners in the DX (digital transformation) field."
